The Engagement
By engaging Creative Grid (Pty) Ltd for services, you agree to the following structural terms. All official project communication and approvals must be conducted via Email to ensure a formal paper trail. While we use instant messaging for convenience, it does not constitute official approval or a legal record.
Payment Terms
Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before any work commences.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is payable within 7 days of project completion.
Retainers: Monthly retainers are invoiced upfront and require a 30-day written notice for cancellation.
Late Fees and Payment
We value technical precision and expect the same in financial conduct.
1–60 Days Overdue: A 5% penalty fee will be added to the invoice every 30 days.
90+ Days Overdue: The penalty fee increases to 10% for every 30 days thereafter.
Note: We reserve the right to pause all active "Plays" and services if an account falls into arrears.
Intellectual Property
Ownership of all creative work, digital assets, and code transfers to the Client only upon receipt of full and final payment. Until the final invoice is settled, all work remains the property of Creative Grid (Pty) Ltd.
Portfolio and Marketing
The Creative Grid reserves the right to showcase completed work on our "Scoreboard" (portfolio) and social media for marketing purposes. If a client requires work to remain confidential, a formal request must be submitted via email providing a valid reason for the exclusion.
Client Responsibility and Sign-off
The Client is responsible for the final "sign-off" on all creative assets, copy, and technical deployments. Once a project is approved via email, any subsequent changes will be treated as a new "Play" and billed accordingly.
Limitation of Liability
While we engineer for high-performance results, we are not liable for:
Sudden changes in third-party platform algorithms (e.g., Google, Meta, LinkedIn).
Loss of revenue due to external market shifts or technical downtime of third-party hosting/tools.
